Meet Rosy. Rosy is 5 years old and one of our favorite regulars at our El Segundo Good Stuff. She often comes in with her parents and enjoys a cheese quesadilla with French fries that she won’t eat until it cools off and is almost cold.
Rosy is very smart and enjoys coloring and playing games like Hide and Seek and Candy Land. Recently, Rosy (with a little help from mom) wrote a story about Little Red Riding Hood that details an adventurous play-date between Grandma and the wolf. She is also very funny and enjoys telling good jokes.
Rosy has a couple of favorite stuffed animals including “Zabu” her Zooboomafoo and also her babydoll she has had with her since she was 3 days old named “Baby.”

This month we would like to spotlight a couple of our El Segundo regulars, Tyler and Katherine of Tyler Surfboards. Tyler has been making his custom surfboards since 1984 and is most known for his custom longboards. His 10-year old factory manufactures and ships out surfboards all over the world.
An interesting story of Tyler’s was depicted in a recent film entitled Single Yellow Fin. This movie relays the true story of a surfboard made by Tyler that traveled the world through the hands of individual professional surfers before it came back home.
Since Tyler and his wife Katherine are El Segundo locals and very involved in their community, 3 years ago they decided to open their retail store in their home city. The demand for their private label T-shirts was so great that the store became necessary. Expanding to 3200 square feet in July 2005 the store carries surf boards and skateboards along with all of the accessories and all of the popular name brand clothing.
