Tis the Season!

This is the greatest time of the year. Everywhere you look the holiday spirit is upon us. All the beach cities are preparing for their holiday festivities. Please go to our "In the Spotlight" on page 3 and you will find a listing of some of our favorite "happenings" in the area. My favorite is the Firework Show in downtown Manhattan Beach. It is great fun for the whole family and perfect way to celebrate the season. Stop by for a bite before, during or after in our restaurant to complete the evening.

Good Stuff will be open everyday except for Christmas Day. We will all close early on Christmas Eve and New Years Eve but will be open on New Years Day.

To make your shopping easier, let us help attach your list with some Good Stuff Gift Certificates (see our coupon for an attractive offer). How about some cozy Good Stuff sweats or long shirts available in Adult as well as Kids sizes. We even have pants for girls with "Good Stuff " printed on the behind. Our Managers in Mexico
Every year Carolyn and I take our managers and go down to our house on the ocean in beautiful Las Gaviotas, Mexico for our company retreat. We take the time to reflect on the year and do some planning for the upcoming one. We here at Good Stuff are always trying to improve in any area that we can be it personally or with our business. This is a time that we can relax, have some fun and get to know our fellow managers. You’re really removed from the norm when not even the cell phones are working! We all had a great time and ate our share of seafood for the 3 days. We had lobster, shrimp, scallops, cevecie, crab and lots of fish tacos. Here we are pictured outside of our favorite restaurant in Puerto Nuevo, Sandras. That is the "Jefe" pictured on the right, the proprietor of the place.

Meet "T-Bone" Tony, our general manager down on the strand in Hermosa. Tony comes to us by way of Atlanta, Georgia. A graduate of Georgia University where he earned his teaching credentials. After graduating Tony taught High school math and coached the school’s Basketball team in the Atlanta area.

In 1999 he and 4 friends looking for a change headed west & took a wrong turn on Interstate 20 and ended up in Hermosa Beach. He got a job as a server in our Manhattan restaurant and his new life started.
