Lalo comes to work everyday before anyone else, and when he is in the restaurant I don’t have to worry about anything. He is my eyes and ears when I am not there. Consistency is his middle name.

Lalo comes from a small village in the mountains of Oaxaca, which I had the pleasure of visiting last year. He moved to California way back in 1975 when he was 17 years old and started his career in the restaurant business as a dishwasher, but quickly moved up to a food preparer. We met in a restaurant in Beverly Hills that we both worked in, and I quickly indentified Lalo as one person I wanted on my team. The rest is history.

Lalo has a great family of 5 with a supportive wife, 3 daughters and one son. He is highly respected in our organization and very well liked. It’s employees like Lalo that makes my job that much easier.

So next time you are in West Los Angeles, stop by Good Stuff Burgers and say "Hi" to Lalo and the gang. He’ll be the one running the show behind the grill.
