Surf Into Good Stuff

"Kid Kustomer" Of The Month

Meet Elizabeth Autumn. Born on the fall solstice, she is now 16 months old. Her parents used to date at the Manhattan Beach location previous to their now 5 year marriage. For old times sake, even though they currently live in Hermosa, they still regularly visit the Manhattan Beach store. Elizabeth’s mom describes the restaurant as having a sort of “Cheers” feel to it, where “everyone knows your name.”
Elizabeth is a regular who upon arriving to eat, is taken up in one of the staff’s arms and paraded around the restaurant. Among her favorite Good Stuff staff are Joy, Carlos, Jesus and Ricardo. In Hermosa, Heather is definitely her favorite. Elizabeth has even had her first party (her baptism party) at the Manhattan store.
With all of the history she and her family have with us, we are pleased to introduce you to one of favorite regulars. We look forward to watching you grow up, precious girl!

In The Spotlight
Meet the Good Stuff family

You have often visited any one of our stores during a rush. Many of you have watched as our employees hustle about to provide you the fast, efficient, friendly service we pride ourselves on. Many of you have also commented on the valiant teamwork that you have noticed in action, especially in these busier moments. Have you ever wondered how we all work so well together? I would like to share some insider information that I think you would appreciate.
At Good Stuff, teamwork is one of our top priorities. When working together, our dedicated staff often goes above and beyond to help each other out. This positive attitude has enabled many of us to develop relationships that are close and meaningful even outside of work.
Last month, at another all restaurant function, we came together to battle each other store by store in a competitive bowl-a-rama. Some of us dressed over the top with obnoxious plaid pants and old bowling shirts. We ate, we drank, we laughed and we bowled. Some of us didn’t feel like bowling, but just showed up to hang out.
Manhattan Good Stuff took the trophies for best scores and Hermosa took the awards for the worst scores. At the end of the night, we are all Good Stuff and we are all friends. Pictured above is our El Segundo group shot.
Next time you see our restaurants in peak action, now you will know that the people there don’t just work together, we also play together. A benefit for all of our clientle.
