| My father, Gary Bennett, was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 1996. At that point the doctor informed us that he was already 2 years into the disease. Since then we have been searching for a miracle.
In 1979 I was fresh out of college, working at a local restaurant and dreaming of a chance to open my own. If it wasn't for my father, I probably would have had to wait a lot longer. My father had the faith in me to put up his house to make this dream a reality. He became my partner in the first and second restaurants that we have to this day. This tournament is in honor of my dad who is in the advanced stages of Parkinson's disease.
