When Mauri isn’t working hard on the weekends and holidays at the restaurant, she remains busy elsewhere. Mauri is a sophomore at South High where she is an editor for the school newspaper. Next year, she will be the new Editor in Chief. Her life goal is, ”to be the first woman president!” But seriously, Mauri aspires, “to be a journalist, maybe try acting, psychology…” She doesn’t really know yet.
Mauri also really enjoys yoga, writing, dancing, singing, acting, as well as hanging out with friends and family. She has a black belt in Tae Kwon Do and was raised to eat healthy vegetarian dishes. At Good Stuff, Mauri’s favorite meal is the Cassidy Garden Omelet with egg whites, fruit and whole-wheat toast without butter. Her co-workers make fun of her, but Mauri has already learned at a young age that you are what you eat, so eat Good Stuff. Smart girl!
