"KID KUSTOMER" OF THE MONTH
Kyler and Sarah
Meet Kyler & Sarah - our long distant Kid Kustomers of the month. Kyler 3 and Sarah 6 are from the Bay area and they grew up with the "Good Stuff" a little differently than our usual Kid Kustomers. Their dad has been my best friend since we were kids ourselves, so Kyler & Sarah have always had "Good Stuff" & frequent the restaurant when in town.
Kyler wears his Good Stuff shirts proudly and enjoys coming to the restaurant and eating his favorite food - French fries. He’s a lovable guy, with big blue eyes, and enjoys playing on his drum set. He’s showing signs of being a musician just like his dad.
Sarah is also a very sweet kid. She really looks forward to coming south for visits. Her favorite place is Disneyland. When she gets married she hopes it can be at the Magic Kingdom. On those visits she also enjoys stopping by for a Good Stuff fix, while staying at the Beach House hotel. Sarah’s favorite fare is the pancakes and watermelon. Yummy.

SPECIAL RECIPE OF THE MONTH
Grilled Chicken & Pepper Salad
Great Summer Salad using your BBQ
2 skinless - boneless chicken breast
1 yellow onion (sweet Maui the best)
1 yellow bell pepper
2 whole cloves of garlic
Romaine lettuce chopped for 2 large salads
1/4 cup cooked cold corn
Wrap whole garlic clove in aluminum foil with the top of the clove cut off to expose the garlic enough for a few drops of olive oil. Cut veggies into strips and lightly coat with olive oil. Cook garlic clove on top shelf of bbq about 15 minutes prior to veggies and chicken. Cook veggies on BBQ in a grill pan or right on the grill itself and monitor closely. At same time grill chicken until both are done. Remove garlic when the clove is soft to the touch. Be careful not to burn yourself.
Serve veggies and thin sliced chicken over the Romaine tossed with the corn. Best with Italian dressing. Serve garlic on side and squeeze the fresh garlic on top of the salad. Light, healthy and good!
