Summertime
And the living is easy down here in the South Bay! This is my favorite time of the year. If we could only get the sun to come out a little more consistently but I trust that too will happen. July 4th is this week and you can enjoy numerous firework spectaculars in El Segundo, Redondo Beach and in Torrance to name a few. Its fun to come down to the strand, just hang out and take in the scene! There are plenty of scenes to take in all month.

We always have something happening at the Good Stuff’s. First off, we are starting to promote the 2nd Annual Good Stuff Golf Classic in memory of my dad. Go to page 3 for more details "In The Spotlight".
Next up is "Beer Tuesday" or better known around the restaurants as "Tipsy Tuesday". Ha Ha! Every Tuesday throughout the summer, in Manhattan and Redondo, we will be offering $1 drafts and $2 bottles. That’s right, enjoy a cold glass of Red Hook draft or any of our fine selection of bottled beer for a great price all day Tuesday. What a deal! This promotion goes great with our already successful "Taco Tuesday".
Another new item is our Fresh Squeezed Strawberry Lemonade. This bottomless beverage has been a hit with our customers and very refreshing for lunch or dinner. It’s all Good Stuff!

EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH

Here is an employee that has done his time with Good Stuff. Alex has been with us since 1982. Wow, 21 years! He has grown up at Good Stuff. Alex started down in Hermosa Beach on the Strand, where most of our long time employees also started. He paid his dues and has always been an awesome employee and an efficient cook. He now is the kitchen manager over in Manhattan. One of the great things about Alex is his willingness to help out in any way he can. If you need someone to come back and work at night after his usual long day, you can count on Alex. If you are looking for a new salad special, you can count on Alex to do the research and come up with a tasty creation.
