Good Stuff News
An Unpretentious Newsletter
March 2002

Thanks to our Loyal Customers

I would like to thank all of you who voted for us in the Easy Readers' "Best of the South Bay" readers' poll. We are honored to have been voted "Best Breakfast Menu," and "Best American Menu" runner up. We want to offer our special congratulations to our Amanda in Manhattan for being voted "Best Server in the South Bay." What an award to win with all the competition in the area. Good Job Amanda!

Something I would like to mention, even though it seems to be a bit premature, is that we will be having our 1st Annual Good Stuff Charity Golf Tournament Tuesday, May 28th. We will be holding this fun event at Cypress Golf Club in Los Alamitos. This course is a Pete Dye design and is a beautiful, challenging and fun track. We will keep you posted through our website and in the restaurants.

Anyone interested in sponsoring a hole in this Tournament, please contact:
Tony in Hermosa @ 310-374-2334
or myself: cris @ eatgoodstuff.com

Dad Makes a Visit Back to Good Stuff
I want to take this opportunity to thank all of you for the nice words of encouragement directed to my dad regarding last month’s newsletter. I printed each and every email that I received and shared them with my dad in the hospital. He was touched to tears. Thank you again.
I would also like to give you all a little update. My dad got out of the hospital and is happily back home. As shown in the photo, my mom brought him down for a visit recently and it was a treat for everyone involved, especially dad!

EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH
Julie from Redondo

Julie has been one of our rocks of consistency. You always know what you are going to get when she comes in for her shift. She is reliable, dependable, never complains, and is an excellent server. Julie is an example of what our foundation is built on. She started with Good Stuff 5 years ago in Hermosa. Her path to Good Stuff includes going to High School in the mountains of Wrightwood, Ca. and college in San Diego while living in Mission Bay. Julie gravitated to Hermosa because of the same laid back feeling she had living in San Diego.
