"KID KUSTOMER" OF THE MONTH
"Twins" Lily & Ella
Whoever said two are better than one? That’s what we said when we met Lily & Ella. Take one look at these two cuties and you can’t help but smile. Parents Adam and Kristin have been dining at Good Stuff regularly since they bought their home in the area in 1999. Given that their mom Kristin worked for Good Stuff while she was in high school and just returned this year, I’d have to say that the Good Stuff just keeps on coming for them.
As you can see, Lily & Ella are used to having their pictures taken because their parents are the owners of Treasured Moments photography. Not only that, but they just recently completed a photo shoot for the fall 2003 "Disney" catalog.
Lily & Ella couldn’t be any more comfortable when they dine at Good Stuff in Redondo. They get an awful lot of attention, twice as much! Just because their "Good Stuff" comes via milk doesn’t mean they don’t have a taste for it. They love the atmosphere, the employees, and can’t wait to eat their first Mickey Mouse pancake. We will be sure to keep a close eye on these two as they continue to come in for some Good Stuff!

"In the Spotlight"
Take your daughter to work day.
On April 24th at Good Stuff Redondo, some of you may have been wondering why our regular familiar staff was accompanied by ten 9-year-old girls. Dawn, one of our managers, brought her scout troop with her in honor of, "Take your daughter to work day." These girls included Briana, Dana, Morgan, Brooke, Debbie, Melissa, Alexandra, Adrienne, Sabrina, and Alli.
An interesting piece of history on this:
This day started in April 1993. It is an excused absence from school and has become a tradition for the Girl Scout programs. This was designed to build positive attitudes in these girls and to show them how a business is run. This was to help to build stronger careers for women in the future and give them an idea of how to be part of a workforce. What a great year to celebrate this, the ten year anniversary.
These fine young workers had a tour of the restaurant, worked a short while and topped it off with a bit of Good Stuff for lunch. As these "little women" took over our outdoor patio, I think they were getting some early ideas. So, sorry to say boys, but it looks like this time you had to stay in school!
