"KID KUSTOMER" OF THE MONTH
Gabriella & Michael
Meet Gabriella & Michael, very loyal customers to Good Stuff Manhattan. They have been dining with Good Stuff ever since they can remember. Michael is 6 now is quite the gentleman. He likes to greet people with a firm handshake and introduces himself: " Hi, my name is Michael ". Very impressive for such a young lad! He is enjoying his first taste of school in Kindergarten. He enjoys going to school and playing t-ball in his spare time. When at Good Stuff you’ll find Michael munching on some Chicken fingers and fries, his favorite dish at the Good Stuff.
Gabriella is the big sister and you can tell by the picture that they really do care for each other. Gabriella is 10 years old and right in the thick of 4th grade. She told me her favorite subject is math and I bet she is quite the math wizard. When not studying, Gabriella keeps pretty busy. She likes to play baseball with the family in the park, tennis, volleyball and in the summer, beach camps. With all those activities she can really work up an appetite Her personal favorites are the Turkey burger and Fish & Chips. The greatest thing about this interview was when I asked Gabriella what she wanted to do when she got all grown up. She was a little unsure but had some great options. The best thing was that she told me; " When I get old enough, like when I’m in High School, I would really like to work here at Good Stuff ". That was great!
Thanks to Gabriella and Michael for being our great kid kustomers for the month of November.

In The Spotlight
Abby & some of his loyal employees
Well in 1986 he stumbled in to Good Stuff Burgers in West Los Angeles and offered to purchase the restaurant from me. I was not interested in the least. He was very persistent and continued to visit each week asking the same question - " I would like to purchase your restaurant, how much will it cost? " It started to get to the point that I dreaded coming in to the parking lot to find him waiting for me. Finally I offered to employ him at minimum wage just to give him an opportunity to gain some experience in this type of business (all of his experience was in fine dining establishments).
Well the rest is history - he worked hard, listened well and learned everything and after a year I brought Abby in as a managing partner.
He is a great guy and has a heart of gold. I can’t say enough good things about him.
And in closing - Hey girls he’s single!
