Winter is still Good Stuff
Well it may be Winter but we still have alot going on in the South Bay and particularly at Good Stuff. Thanksgiving is just around the corner and we want you to know that we will be open to serve you from 7am to 3pm. So don't worry about messing up the kitchen for breakfast or lunch. If you need a place for a home style Turkey Dinner come to our place, we will be offering one with all the trimmings. You won't want to miss the kick off to the Holidays in our downtown areas. Manhattan gets started on Wednesday night November 14th at 5pm with their Holiday Open House. Make sure you come by Utterly Perfect on Highland Ave. and get a photo of Santa and the kids compliments of Good Stuff! Redondo's Riviera Village Holiday Stroll will take place on Thursday November 29th at 5pm. These two events will get you in the holiday mood. Here at Good Stuff we have some new promotions to reward you, our customers. We just started Wine Wednesdays, at Manhattan and Redondo, with all wines by the glass or bottle offered at 1/2 price. As a repeat customer you can also take advantage of our reward programs designed just for you. First there is the "Lucky 7-11 Breakfast Club", at Manhattan and Hermosa, next in all the beach restaurants we have the "Good Stuff Dinner Club" and in West LA the "Good Stuff Burger Club" all reward you for your visits to our Good Stuff Restaurants. When is West Los Angeles
I would like to take the time to introduce you to one of our proudest accomplishments in Good Stuff history. Our first restaurant - Good Stuff Burgers, established in 1979 - this is where it all started. We originally opened on the corner of Olympic Blvd. and Barrington in about 350 square feet with no inside dining just a little patio practically right on the street. We quickly developed a very loyal clientele that enjoyed healthy food in a fast food format. In 1983 we moved west down Olympic to a new larger location near Bundy. We are proud to say that we were the original tenants in our center and have seen much turnover throughout the years. Thanks to our faithful clientele that drives from as far as Century City, Santa Monica, and Culver City, to get our "Good Stuff." We serve up delicious burgers, sandwiches, salads, zucchini Parmesan, and smoothies, as well as a full breakfast menu. Of course our most important asset to our restaurant is our loyal employees. Let me mention one in particular, Lalo Hernandez, who has been with us since 1978 when we both worked for a restaurant in Beverly Hills. Lalo has been with us since the start and is just one story of the many long term employees that we have. The average term of employment is 12 years in West Los Angeles - they are not employees they are family! So next time you find yourself on the Westside stop by and say "Hi" to Abby, Lalo and the rest of the crew at Good Stuff Burgers, the alternative to the fast food giants.

How many people do you know that had a job at 14 years old? Tara has worked for Good Stuff in Hermosa now for 6 years. Tara basically grew up working for us. She started in 1995 as a hostess with determination. We usually don't hire that young but Tara showed the maturity to handle the job. Tara worked as a hostess until she turned 16 and was then promoted to server. Again we usually don't employ servers so young, but Tara is an exception. The same hard work and determination she still has within her as her current shift manager position.
She is well liked by both our customers and her fellow employees, Tara always has had a great attitude. Go to page 2 for more on Tara.
