The McColgan Kids
Meet the local Hermosa Beach McColgan kids – all 5 of them! Shane 10, Luke 8, Sydney 7, Parker 6, & Charley 3. Talk about having your hands full! The McColgan kids have been eating at Good Stuff from their mother’s womb. When we asked Mom, Kellie, to give a little background on her and her husband Shane, this is what she said.
""When people ask how Shane and I met, we say "at Good Stuff". We met through mutual friends, while eating breakfast. Shane was a bodybuilder at the time, and I remember watching him eat! "You Are What You Eat....So Eat Good Stuff" definitely pertained to him! Now, 12 years and 5 kids later, we have been eating at Good Stuff ever since that day. Good Stuff is a part of our lives...it's Good Food, Good Friends, Good Atmosphere, Good for Kids, Good Location.....Just GOOD STUFF!!!"
The boys, Shane & Luke, are big hockey players for the Los Angeles Hockey Club in Westminister, CA. They will be competing in tournaments in San Diego, Chicago, Colorado, Toronto, and North Dakota, all in the next 8 months! They bring their big appetites frequently to Good Stuff on the Strand to fill up with some Good Stuff. Growing boys need healthy tasty food!! The boys love the pancakes, bacon & fresh squeezed orange juice, but will try just about everything on the menu.
The girls, Sydney, Parker, & Charley also keep busy in all of their time. The girls are involved with soccer, gymnastics & dance. (Where do you find all your time Mom & Dad???) Mom says the 3 sisters can put on quite a performance! These petite sweethearts prefer scrambled eggs, fresh fruit (grapes & strawberries) and toast.
This family doesn’t mess around! With Mom & Dad being local business owners in the area (Sharks Cove) and in the process of opening a new one in Manhattan Beach, they are on a time frame just about every time they eat. Being such an athletic family, they care about what they put in their bodies. Our staff at Good Stuff on the Strand loves to see them walk in, the whole troupe each & every time. Thank you McColgans for letting us watch your family grow!!

"In the Spotlight"
Our New Menu
We have rolled out our new menu here at Good Stuff in Manhattan, Hermosa and Redondo. Probably one of the biggest changes is our two sizes for all of our salads. We have an entree size and a smaller version, the lunch size. You gotta try our new Seafood Salad, sauteed shrimp, calamari and scallops, grilled mushrooms, peppers and onions served over fresh greens with fresh slices of avocado. Yum!
We also have new breakfasts items, wrapps, appetizers, sandwiches and lots of new stuff for dinner. Just picture yourself having a glass of Blackstone Merlot enjoying a new Chicken Pasta Fresca, kalamatta olives, feta cheese and fresh basil sitting on the heated patio in MB enjoying the evening. Or how about a glass of Mirrasou Sonoma Chardonnay while enjoying our Fresh Salmon & Orange pasta in a white wine and fresh oj sauce - very low fat. Maybe a glass of Fresh Strawberry lemonade and Fresh Mahi Mahi Tacos watching the surf from a sidewalk table on the Hermosa strand. I can paint the scene, now all that is missing is you! See ya soon!
