Another fun summer wraps up at our beaches. The kids are back at school, vacations are done, life gets back to normal and the beaches return to the locals. The weather is usually the best this time of year and we still seem to be waiting for that to happen. We look forward to our fall season in the South Bay.
Right around the corner we have some fun events to look forward to in our cities. The Manhattan Hometown Fair and 10k race takes place on Oct. 6th and 7th and the Hermosa Triathlon on Oct. 14th in downtown Hermosa. This is also the time for Halloween and on October 28th the Manhattan Beach Downtown Merchant Association will sponsor a Safe Trick or Treat event for the whole family. This will take place from 4 to 8 pm and there will even be a Haunted House at the end of the pier in the Round House.
Since the Lifeguards have finished up another successful season of competitions they have given us something new to check out in each of our restaurants. The custom Competition Paddleboards that we donated to our area lifeguards are on display at the restaurants. Come by and see these boards on display and in Good Stuff Manhattan we are honored to have the coveted "Bud Stevenson Trophy" on display - won by the Manhattan Lifeguards during the Surf Festival. Its rather large and displays all the winning teams back to 1955.
Hope you had a great summer and remember "Good Stuff" when you're hungry.
