Jesus worked hard for a solid 8 years when he felt it was time for a vacation to his homeland of Mexico. We all kidded him that he was going back to get married and sure enough we were right. He married a sister of our head cook and started his family. Olga and Jesus now have two beautiful girls 6 & 2 and are happily living not too far from his work at the Good Stuff Manhattan. Jesus has been our head busboy in Manhattan practically since we opened and is respected by his peers and well liked by our customers. He is so personable that we decided to train him as a server. Now he splits his time as our head busboy and one of our day servers. Jesus says that his favorite part of working at Good Stuff is his interaction with the customers, many that he’s known since the early days of his employment.

Long term employees are one of the most rewarding parts of owning our restaurants. Jesus has worked in all the beach restaurants as well as a short stop over in Mammoth when we were there and has worked as a dishwasher, prep, busboy and server. Employees like Jesus are priceless in our organization and we are fortunate to have him.
